October has gotten away from us a bit. We are preoccupied with daily stresses and the upcoming holiday season. But we’d like to take the time to wish everyone a happy Halloween. We promise to do better with October next year.

There is just something about letterpress. We are drawn to the hand crafted feel of letter press cards. The weight of history when seeing an actual letterpress machine in person. And the letters! You can carry a small piece of that history around with you. *sigh*

Fall is in the air. In our crafty retailing world that means late nights and extra goings on. Not that we are complaining. We live for this time of year. Orders are coming in as Tomte is receiving new crafty goodness every day. Orders are going out as Brett stocks crafty boutiques with Vital gear and local businesses with their own custom gear. We are on the edge. On the edge of all sorts of happy things.

We are on the beginning of planning for Tomte’s one year birthday. Perhaps the first Saturday in November? Brett will brew a special Tomte beer for the event. Some gnomes will be felted, for our gnome army is to take over the world. Also, there is some exciting news that we will officially announce at that time. All good things.

We look forward to sharing the holiday season with you.
